Our DNA

We built our careers over more than a decade working across private equity, M&A, and the day-to-day operations of businesses, participating in significant transactions in Brazil, the United States and Canada. Over this period, we experienced every stage of the investment cycle: acquisitions, value creation and exits. Along the way, we accumulated important lessons, drawn from both successes and mistakes. After more than ten years working together, we decided it was time to build our own business. This conviction gave rise to Algon, founded on the belief that investing goes beyond acquiring an exceptional company: it is about carrying forward a legacy while building for the future and preserving what truly matters.

Having experienced firsthand the challenges and transformations inherent to the entrepreneurial journey, we created Algon to acquire a leading company in a market with strong growth potential, healthy margins and a strong culture. We are entrepreneurial investors who believe in generosity, partnership and long-term relationships built on trust. We will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, in a clear and pragmatic manner, helping to shape its next chapter, unlock its potential and preserve the legacy that brought it here.
